Cristal Roederer is the prestigious Cuvee of the Roederer house and certainly one of the most famous vintages in the world. It is a cuvée whose blend only uses Grand Cru grapes, with 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, 20% of which are vinified in oak barrels. This exceptional cuvée spends an average of 5 years in the chalk cellars of the Roederer house, then another 8 months after disgorging and dosage. The Cristal Roederer offers a delicate and complex nose. One finds notes of white flowers, chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, and candied citrus fruits. On the palate, one discovers a vintage full of nuance and subtlety, a serrated cuvée with a silky texture. The palate is concentrated and full, with notes of ripe fruit, caramel, vanilla, and pastries.
